Karen Henson-Carter
Karen Lynne Henson-Carter, 57, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020. She was born June 23, 1962 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She attended University of Arkansas Little Rock, was a Master Gardner, a member of BPOE Lodge 1004 and First United Methodist in North Little Rock.
Karen is survived by her son, Will Carter and his father, Doug; parents, Bill and Barbara Henson; sister, Leslie Kita (Dr. Alexander); brother, Dr. Greg and Sonya Henson; nieces and nephews, Dr. Jerad (Dr. Christina) Henson, Dr. Matthew Henson, Amy Henson, Camille Kita and Collin Kita; her fur baby, My Girl Friday; great-nephew, Trusten Henson; and her special friends, Marva Lewis, Holly Green and Ritchie Stuckey.
A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
