Katherine Maurine Mann Boyd, 88, a lifelong resident of Little Rock, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2007. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family and was a member of Geyer Springs United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, C. E. "Pete" Boyd; daughter, Carlene Carruth (Hugh) of Longview, Texas; son, Mike Boyd (Nancy) of Cabot, Arkansas; daughter, Penni Benton (Joe) of Rose Bud, Arkansas; son, Pat Boyd (Patty) of Little Rock, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, Matt Carruth, Alyson Nagy, Kelly Stuckey, Barry Benton, Susan Boyd, Bryan Benton, Ashley Henry, Stephan Boyd, Chris Benton, Patrick Boyd; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Fred P. and Ruby Pritchard Mann, four sisters, two brothers and grandson, Paige Carruth.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 17, from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. There will be a private graveside service at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
