Katherine Elaine Chandler

Katherine (Kathy) Elaine Delling Chandler passed away at her home on November 25, 2025. Kathy was born to Don B. Delling and Billie Jean Delling on 11/12/1951 in little Rock Arkansas. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Dan H. Chandler Sr. and her son Dan H (DJ) Chandler Jr.

 Kathy had a great love of people and served others as a dental assistant, a tutor and secretary at Davis Elementary School, and then as a church administrator/ financial secretary at Mabelvale United Methodist Church. After moving to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas she quickly made numerous friends and joined a special group of friends who called themselves Mis Amigas, she also joined her church choir where she loved raising her voice in worship. The Gospel was ever present within her. 

Kathy's love for dogs led her to donate many hours of her time to the Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League until her health limited her, also she dearly loved flower gardening and to just look at her yard. You can tell She had a special friendship with Weeza Boyd and Nim Barnett that has lasted over 50 years and has enjoyed the friendship and love of her cousins and aunts. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Michael Don Delling. She leaves behind not only her husband Dan Sr. and son Dan (DJ) Jr, her nephews Jesse Delling and Jordan Delling. 

There will be a memorial service December 18th at 1:00 PM at Montainside Methodist Church in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Please send any donations or memorials to the Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League.
