Kathleen Joan Gwin

Kathleen Joan Gwin, 77, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2026.  She was born on June 11, 1949, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the first born to John Nora Sr. and Irene Margaret May Bischoff.

Kathy spent her early years in Wisconsin, graduating from Jefferson High School in 1967.  She married the love of her life, Riley, in February 1992.  Together, they made Arkansas their home. Kathy worked in the mailing business until her retirement.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and always found a way to get in on a Wisconsin Badger or Green Bay Packer football game.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Riley Edwin Gwin; and her brothers, John Nora Jr., Ronnie Nora, Dan Nora and Lonnie Bischoff.  Kathy is survived by her son, David Cartwright and daughter-in-law Lindy of Romance, AR; her grandchildren: Nick Cartwright and fiancée Melissa Franklin of Little Rock, AR, Sydney Reed and husband Justin of Benton, AR and Gena Phillips and husband Taylor of Marshall, AR; her sister Cindee Lenius and husband Harry; her brother Bobby Bischoff and wife Wanda; her sisters-in-laws Dawn Nora, Faye Nora and Annie Klumb, all of Wisconsin; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends that will miss her dearly.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2026 at 11 AM at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 1139 Red Hill Road, Romance, AR. Brother Larry Forte, Pastor of the church will direct the service.

Cremation arrangements entrusted to Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, Arkansas.
