Kathleen Shuffield

Kathleen (Snelling) Shuffield born August 8, 1924, of North Little Rock, passed away on September 9, 2021 at Superior Health and Rehab in Conway. She was born in Danville, AR to Fred and Callie Snelling.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Wanda (Jim) Rowe of Little Rock, Jimmy (Kay) Shuffield of Jacksonville, Karen (Randy) Spencer of Conway and sister Imogene Brucks of North Little Rock.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Callie Snelling, husband, Clarence Shuffield, daughter, Kathy Lindsey and great grandson, Randal Spencer Jr. along with her siblings Artie Heffley of Fall River Mills, Ca, James Snelling of Burney, Ca, Travis Snelling of Taneyville MO and Lorene Haynes of Watertown WI.

She left behind to cherish all the great memories, 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and touched the lives of many with her loving heart and compassionate words. She was a member of Remount Baptist Church and loved her church family and enjoyed the game nights they had together. Her love for the lord was shown in her daily life.

We will always remember her telling us she “loved us a bushel and a peck.” As she kissed us bye and then hugging us and saying “and a hug around the neck” and standing on the porch as we were leaving her house and waving until we were out of sight. She will be missed by many. We want to thank Superior Health and Rehab for their love and support.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 6:00 PM-7:30 PM at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
