Kathryn Ann Moen, age 85 of Arkadelphia died Monday June 1, 2009 at home. She was born July 11, 1923 in Spirit Lake, Iowa the daughter of Bill and Zabeth Waechter. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Thomas Moen.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Moen of Arkadelphia and one son, Stephen, wife (Lowella) of Hollywood, Florida, two grandsons, Mathew and Scott Moen also of Hollywood, and one sister Mary Naviaux of Spirit Lake, Iowa.
Kathryn was a homemaker who enjoyed her family and friends; was a member of Chapter BB P.E.O., Colerean Club, the Philharmonic Club, the Historian Democratic Woman's Club, and the Library Club, She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 Saturday June 6, in the Ruggles-Wilcox chapel in Arkadelphia with Rev. Carroll Jackson officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Koman Cancer Foundation, the Clark County Humane Society, or the First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia.
