Kathryn Wilson

Kathryn Ann (Harris) Wilson, 75, of Little Rock passed away Wednesday March 23, 2022, from complications with dementia.  She was born in DeWitt on July 9, 1946, to the late John Frank Harris and Vera Mae Harris. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents and her brother John E. Crump (Gene) and her sister Barbara Joan Young.  Kathy loved her family dearly and spent many days in laughter, especially with Joan. They were always easily found due to the amount of laughter they shared.

She graduated from DeWitt High School in 1964.  She worked at People’s Auto and later, at the DeWitt Shoe Factory.  Kathy had many friends in her life and her jobs due to her love of laughter and friendly personality.  In 1985, she married Jim Wilson and moved to Little Rock. As a woman of faith, Kathy loved her church and later found that she loved being a grandmother.  She found that she shared a passion for traveling with her husband, Jim.  They traveled to many locations, but Kathy and Jim shared a special affinity for the west and especially Sedona, Arizona.  Kathy was a wonderful gardener of flowers, trees, cacti, bushes, shrubs and anything else she set her mind to.

Kathy leaves behind her loving husband Jim, her children Steve Mack Jr (Susan) and Pamela Floyd (Robert); her grandchildren Brendan Mack (Savannah), Jonah Mack, Andrew Mack, Shelby Floyd (Jamison), Harley Young (Patrick), and Ashley Floyd; great grandchildren Garak Mack, Elle Young, and Emma-Rose Floyd-Grandy.
