Kathy Dawn Cogburn Slaton

Kathy Dawn Cogburn Slaton, age 70, of Glenwood, Arkansas, passed away on December 26, 2025.

She was born on January 8, 1955, in California to Loyd Cogurn and Patricia Taylor Cogburn. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Linda Tillery; and her brother Stephen Cogburn.

She was married on June 12, 1990, to Bruce Slaton. When she was able, she attended Community Bible Baptist Church. Her hobbies were cooking and sewing. Kathy will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Bruce Slaton, daughter Kristal Preston, son Dennis Vaught Jr., and brother-in-law Danny Tillery

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home- Glenwood.
