Kathy Masoner

Kathleen Ann (Ilgner) Masoner, 72, passed away in Maumelle, AR, on Monday, February 10, 2020.  Kathy was born in Little Rock, AR, on November 9, 1947, to Catherine (O’Brien) and Robert Ilgner. She was proceeded in death by both parents and her sister, Eileen (Ilgner) Ford.

Kathy was the oldest of four siblings, Bobby, Eileen, Maggie and Maureen. Kathy attended Immaculate Conception Elementary School and in 1965 graduated from Mount St. Mary Academy. After high school she married and in time became mother to five boys. In 1984 she started work as a Customer Service Representative for Arkla Gas and remained there until her retirement. After leaving Arkla she enrolled at UALR, competing a course of General Studies and English in 2005. Kathy attended St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in North Little Rock and was a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Kathy’s family fondly remembers the way she enjoyed having a Dr. Pepper, was always happy to find something pretty to wear or display, and that she faithfully prayed the rosary every day.

Kathy leaves behind her sons Robert Wade, Jr (Cassandra), Brian Wade (Dana), Thomas Wade, Scott Wade, and Kevin Ingram, brother Robert Ilgner, sisters Margaret (David) Proctor and Maureen Parker, as well as nephews, cousins, and other family.

There will be a visitation at 6:00 p.m. and Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 10:00 am, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Catholic Church in North Little Rock (Marche’).
