Kathy Mowery

Kathy Kay Mowery, age 66, of Hot Springs, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

She was born on May 25, 1956, the daughter of Buddy Lee Harris and Betty Lee Spencer Harris.  On November 25, 1978, she married Charlie Mowery.  She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, David Harris and Mike Harris; her in-laws, Charlie and Janie Mowery; and her sisters-in-law, Marsha Blevins and Vickie Harris.

Kathy was a Christian in her faith and worked as a certified real estate appraiser.  As a Christian her light shined all about so that others could see her Savior.  She was a huge example to her family and everyone she came in contact with.  Anyone who ever met her would say she was a package of dynamite.  People that knew her would say that Kathy was the smartest person they ever knew.  If you had a problem, she would work diligently helping you solve it, and would tackle any problem big or small even if it was to the annoyance of who she helped.  She loved dogs of all kinds and took care of many.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Charlie W. Mowery of Hot Springs; two sons and daughter-in-law, Charlie M. and April Mowery, and Joe W. Mowery, all of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Luke Mowery and Annabelle Mowery; one brother, Jimmy Harris of Hot Springs; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

As per her wishes there will be no service.
