Katie D. Cranford, age 88 of North Little Rock passed away July 24, 2013 in North Little Rock. She was born to George and Mary Doles on June 3, 1925 at Traskwood, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her husband Chesley Cranford, her parents, her brothers and sisters Luther, Barney, Myrtle, Ruth, Cora and Cleo; a daughter Joan McKamie; two infant children Odel and Elsey; grandchildren John Santiago, Joe Doles and Jeanie Doles; and best friends Virginia Hill and Helen Gonnaley.
Survivors include her children Donald Doles (Wanda) of Ft. Worth, Texas; Nancy Wimberly (Jimmy) of North Little Rock; Chesley Cranford (Janice) of Point Cedar, Arkansas; Janet McKinnon of North Little Rock; Daphne Edwards of North Little Rock; twenty-four grandchildren, forty-four great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren and a host of loving friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood with burial following at Edgewood Memorial Park Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
