Kay Frances Herrick Beckman

Kay Frances Herrick Beckman was called home by our wonderful and gracious Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 11, 2026. She was born in Long Beach, California on September 20, 1941, to Delbert and Freida Herrick. She attended Cabot High School and Hendrix College. She graduated from St. Edwards Nursing School.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Daniel Herrick and James Herrick.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles Beckman; son, Martin Beckman; and daughter Amy Beckman Fields. She had six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by Vanessa Micomyiza, who Kay loved like a daughter.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, loving mother and grandmother, wonderful friend, co-worker and neighbor. Most of all, she will be remembered as a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating Kay’s life will follow at 11:00 AM.

The family extended a special thanks to the staff at Woodland Heights Memory Care who took wonderful care of Kay in her last months.
