Kenneth Lee Boyd, age 79, of Austin died on Saturday, July 6, 2013. He was a member of Ward First Baptist Church. He retired from Union Pacific Rail Road. He was a member of Arkansas Nail Benders, and a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Hugh and Lillie Boyd, and his first wife; Jean Boyd.

He is survived by his wife; Margaret Boyd of Austin, two sons; Rusty Boyd of Liberty, MS and Kenny Boyd of Austin, three daughters; Marilyn Trammell of Mt. View, Carolyn Oakes of Ward, and Vickie Harmon of Austin, two step children; Cliff Wright of Camden, and Carol Leek of Cabot, one brother; Virgil Boyd of Lonoke, one sister; Geneva Hassen of Cabot, nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grand children; four step grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends and family for a visitation at Ward First Baptist Church in Ward, Arkansas from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Funeral service will be at Ward First Baptist in Ward, AR on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to Ward First Baptist Church Building Fund, PO BOX 240, Ward, AR 72176.
