Kenneth Lee Burchfield, Jr.

Kenneth Lee Burchfield, Jr. passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on December 12, 1967, in Benton, Arkansas, Kenneth led a life brimming with passion, adventure, and dedication to his craft. For over twenty years, he showcased his expertise as a master plumber, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike.

Kenneth's free spirit was reflected in his zest for life and an unwavering love for the open road. Despite his passions for hunting, fishing, mudding, and working on old cars, it was his family who meant the world to him. He cherished the moments spent with his children and embraced the joy that his grandchildren brought into his life.

He leaves behind his beloved children: Jessica Funke (Mike) of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Brittany Moorman (Drew) of Smyrna, Tennessee; Elizabeth Burchfield (Clayton Elkins) of Alexander, Arkansas; and Hanna Burchfield (Wayne King) of Cabot, Arkansas. His legacy also lives on through his grandchildren: Waylon and Ainsley Funke; Emily Moorman; Ryleigh Burrell; Adam and Jenavieve Elkins; and Rose and Drake King.

In addition to his children and grandchildren, Kenneth is survived by his loving mother, Ruby Hulsey (Gene) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his sisters, Tammy Payne (Eric) of Bismark, Arkansas, and Amber Maddox (Chad) of Kentucky; and his brothers, Kevin Burchfield (Christina) of Bauxite, Arkansas, and Andrew Weems of Haskell, Arkansas. He will be remembered fondly by a host of family and friends who love Kenneth and will miss him always.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Burchfield, Sr.; his sister, Christina Burchfield; and his granddaughter, Evelynn Elkins.

A visitation and memorial service will be held in his honor on June 7, 2025, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas. The visitation will commence at 10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM, concluding at 12:00 PM.

Kenneth Lee Burchfield, Jr., lived life to the fullest, leaving a significant impact on all who knew him. His memory will continue to inspire and comfort those he loved dearly.
