Kenny Sims

Kenny Sims, 64, of Cabot took his Father by the hand and entered Heaven on Saturday, October 14, 2023. He was born May 13, 1959, to Riley L. and Ola Dove Sims in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a member of Crystal Hill Assembly of God.

His survivors include one son, Brandon Dewayne Sims of Cabot, and one daughter Amber Lynn Sims of Mobile, Alabama, four sisters, Sue German (Carlton) of Scott, Wanda Green (Ken) of Cabot, Marilyn Warrick (Danny) of Scott, Elizabeth House (Donny) of Scott, three brothers Gary Sims (Lenora) of Beebe, Mike Sims (Mary) of Cabot, Brad Sims (Christy) of Austin.

He was preceded in death by his father Riley L. Sims, mother Ola Sims, and one brother Larry Sims (Sandi).

He was a loving father, brother, and friend to all. He possessed a love for life that will not be replaced. He was greatly loved and will be missed by many friends that he was touched by throughout his life.

He loved the outdoors; he was a die-hard Razorback fan. He loved watching Nascar racing. Brandon said his father was his best fishing buddy. He was also an avid hunter.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas.
