Kerry Bruce Rains, a dedicated roofer in the construction industry, passed away on May 31, 2024 He was born on January 22, 1949. Bruce was known for his outgoing and friendly personality that endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill Rains and Lydda Summit; daughter, Amy Childs; two brothers, and five sisters.
In his free time Bruce enjoyed indulging in various hobbies such as listening to country music, fishing and hunting deer, and watching the Discovery Channel on TV. These interests brought him joy and relaxation throughout life.
Bruce will be dearly missed by his surviving family members including his sons, Brian Rains and Vincent Gary Rains; daughter, Jody Wells (David); as well as three sisters, two grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. .
Throughout his life, Kerry touched the hearts of many with his warm demeanor and unwavering kindness. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be forever treasured by those who knew him.
There will be no services at this time.
