Kevin "Mark" Burdette

Kevin Mark Burdette ("Mark"), age 60, passed away at home on February 13, 2026.

Born in McClean, West Virginia on March 25, 1964 to Betty and Ralph Burdette, Mark grew up across the Midwest. Mark graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1988 and received his MBA in 1994.

Mark was an avid craftsman and could often be found in a workshop, crafting toys for his children, stereo equipment for movie nights, and tinkering with detailed models.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Betty, and his older brother, Joe Burdette.

Mark Burdette is survived by his four children, Hannah, Joshua, Lily, and Naomi Burdette, and his sisters Deborah Port, Monti Black, and Rebecca Chapin.

The family will have private memorial services.
