Khairi Filat

Khairi I Filat, age 83, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away on August 11, 2025. He was born on February 26, 1943, in Jerusalem.

Khairi is survived by his children Mannal Dajani (Jamal Dajani), Bassil Filat (Intisar Filat), his Daughter In-Law, Hanadi Filat, grandchildren: Rami Dajani (Britani Dajani), Raneen Dajani, Reem Delgado-Marroquin (Brayan Delgado-Marroquin), Kary Filat, Layla Filat, and Jenna Filat. He is also survived by his siblings, Wally Filat & Fatima Barakat, 4 great-grandchildren, as well as extended family of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rihab S. Dajani-Filat and son, Nasser K. Filat.

Khairi was known as a loving father, husband, son, brother and most of all, Sedo. He was the most down to earth man you could ever meet. Always so happy, care-free, and just so calm. Family was everything to him - whether it be family gatherings, nights spent outside watching the kids play, or just sitting eating dinner, he enjoyed the moments like that.

He loved nothing more though than being outside fishing while sipping on an ice cold Coke.

From Filat Jewelers, to Filat Meat Market, he was always working hard to give his family the best life.

His smile and humor will be missed more than anything.
