Kimberly McGee

August 8, 1957 — February 16, 2022

Kimberly “Kim” Ann Stripling McGee, 64, of Sherwood, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2022.

Kim was born August 8, 1957, in Jacksonville, Arkansas to AJ and Ethel Ailene (Yarbro) Stripling. She graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1975. She worked in retail management and as an administrative assistant for a number of companies, most recently as the administrative assistant at Epic Mechanical Services in Sherwood.

Kim was a Christian in the Apostolic faith and a saint of the First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock. She was a Godfearing woman and always willing to help others when they needed encouragement.

Kim enjoyed entertaining by hosting holiday dinners and birthday parties for her loved ones. She was always serving others and making sure everyone else was taken care of before taking care of herself.

She enjoyed spending time and traveling with her loving husband of 42 years. Her children were her pride and joy and made sure everyone knew how proud she was of them. Her world became brighter when she became “Nannie” and “Nannie Kim”. Every day you could expect multiple text messages, calls, and FaceTime calls from her just to check on her grandbabies.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 42 years, James Nathan McGee; her son Andy McGee (Nina) of Mayflower, Arkansas; her daughter Ailena Martin (Matthew) of Searcy, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Bayla, Hadley, Brinley, Ainsley, Beaudrie, Shepard, Kinley; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ric Stripling.
