Kristen Noel McCune

Kristen Noel McCune Dempsey, “Kritty,” age 57, of Donaldson, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

She was a gifted singer whose voice brought joy to those around her, an avid animal lover with a compassionate heart, and a devoted wife, mother, Mimi, and friend. She had a creative spirit and a gentle soul that touched the lives of many.

Born on December 25, 1968, in Georgia, she dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family and friends. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, creativity, and the comfort she gave to both people and animals alike.

She is survived by her husband, Harold “Mac” McCune; son, Daniel Dempsey; four grandchildren, Deacon, Lily, and Iyla Dempsey, and Barrett Jones; and brother, Sean Dempsey. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Dan “Big Dan” Dempsey and Christine Dempsey; and brother, Jack Dempsey.

A private memorial to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.

Though she is gone from our sight, her music, love, and creativity will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
