Ky Harrod
Ky Harrod, 53, of Little Rock, passed away May 14, 2024. He was born in Ft. Riley, Kansas, to Roger and Libby Harrod, on July 5, 1970. Ky was in the Arkadelphia High School Band and graduated from West Point Academy class of ‘92. He served in the United States Army and the National Guard. Ky was a pharmaceutical sales rep and excelled at his career. He was passionate about volunteering for Trans World Radio- a global evangelism ministry- and recently returned from a 2-week mission trip to Japan.
He was an active member in local churches and mission work. He hosted and led Bible Study groups in their home.
He loved our Lord and wanted to lead others to Him.
He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Teresa Harrod; their children, Joshua Brent Harrod, Andrew Jensen Harrod (Elizabeth), Tyler Bruce Harrod (Julianne), Benjamin Doyle Harrod (Briley), and Rachel Noel Harrod; his parents; brothers, Jay Gavin Harrod and Ian Bruce Harrod (Lorraine); nephews and nieces, Max Harrod, Zeke Harrod, Ava Harrod, Calvin Hynes, and Charlie Hynes; sister-in-law, Julie Hynes (Chris); and father-in-law, Bill Miller (Sue).
Ky was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Carolyn Miller; and his cousins Christy Watson Shuffield and Jonathan Bost.
Ky was very devoted to his family. In lieu of flowers please consider contributing in Ky’s memory to the account established for the benefit of his family. A visitation will be held 11:00-12:30 pm. Monday, May 20 at The Summit Church, 6600 Crystal Hill Rd, North Little Rock, AR. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 1:00 pm. at the church, with burial to follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens.
