L. Bennett
L. G. Bennett, age 85 of the New DeRoche Community near Bismarck passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 in Arkadelphia. He was born September 30, 1927 in Rains County Texas, the son of Dorsey Wagner and Thelma Lela McKay Bennett. L. G. was a member of Arkadelphia Seventh Adventist Day Church and retired from White House Manufacturing near Hot Springs.
He was preceded in death by his wife. Floy M. Bennett on August 27, 2012; a grandson, Jeremy Lindstrom; a brother, Kenneth Bennett and a sister, Florence Brown.
Survivors are a son, Boyd Bennett and wife, Carolyn; a daughter, Patrice Bennett Lindstrom and husband, Steve; three grandchildren, Alicia Robertson, Kevin Bennett and Joshua Lindstrom; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Bobby Bennett; three sisters, Betty Rich, Doris Collie and Pansy Wilson.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 24th at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Bro Hollis McDermott officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
