L. Burress
L. T. Burress, age 90, of Lexington, South Carolina formerly of Magnolia, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 in Lexington. He was born October 19, 1926 in Floral, Arkansas to the late Lucius Theodore and Oma Bowren Burress. L. T. was a longtime member of Jackson Street Church of Christ in Magnolia and a World War II veteran.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife. Marjorie Burress.
 
Survivors are one son, Wayne Burress and wife, Karyl of Lexington, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Chris Burress and wife, Carrie, Kelli Daniel and husband, Lance; six great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Betty Hancock.
 
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 5th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Russell Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Bethsaida Cemetery near Amity. Family will receive friends 1:00 pm Thursday until service at the funeral home.
