L. Free

L. D. Free, 88, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born May 4, 1925 at Searcy, Arkansas, to Willie W. and Ubell (McKay) Free, and he died July 7, 2013. L. D. was a true cowboy, and was the former president of the Beebe Riding Club. L. D. was a man of honor and a wonderful father. He is survived by three children, Billy (Wanda Sue) of Beebe, Sylvia (Denver) of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee and Kenneth (Martha) of Beebe; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mearlene; daughter Earlene; grandson, Steve Lawson; his parents and all his brothers and sisters.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Romance Cemetery.
