Ladola Halbert, 84, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013. She was born January 7, 1929 in Dallas, Texas to Anson and Julia Wartman. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and former owner and co-founder of Halbert Pipe and Steel.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Shela and Jerry Cooper and Debra and Edgar Sweeney III, all of North Little Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Debi Halbert, of Hot Springs; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Leon Halbert.
Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, 109 Tanglewood Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday at Faith Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Saturday at the church.
