Larry J. Martin

Larry J. Martin, 75, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025.

He was the son of Hazel Dell (Humphreys) Martin Johnson and Joseph Benjamin Martin; stepson of William Johnson. 

He is survived by his wife, Lori Buckner Martin; sister, Joyce Ingle of Hot Springs; sister-in-law, Nancy Buckner Beich and family of Florida; special cousins Pat Blees and Polly Caldwell, and a host of family and friends.

Larry was born in Dumas, AR on 12/4/49. He spent his youth in Jessieville, AR and graduated HS there. He loved the outdoors; being an avid bass fisherman, hunter, photographer, and amateur gunsmith. He was employed by AP&L/Entergy for over 40 years. He was a dedicated blood donor for many years, having given almost 3 gallons over time.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the Dementia Society of America, or the American Red Cross.

A Visitation will be held at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home on August the 5th from 4-6 p.m.
