Larry Raines

Larry Raines, age 71, of Searcy, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023, at his home. He was born December 10, 1951, to the late Horace Junior Raines and Vera Mae (Funderburk) Raines in Baytown, TX. Larry is also preceded in death by his brother, Ray Raines, and sister, Karen Crews.

Larry loved and was proud of his daughters and his son-in-law Brian. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them participate in all of their activities. Larry enjoyed watching NASCAR, sprint cars, and late models. He owned and showed a 1967 Camaro and a 1957 Chevy.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Marsha (Raines) Haller (Brian) of Beebe and Miranda Raines of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Lindsey Aschbrenner (Jared), and Grant Haller; great-grandson, Hudson Aschbrenner; brother, Phillip Raines (Renee) of Glenwood; nephew, Dustin Raines (Kaitlin); and great-niece, Adaleigh Raines.

The family would like to thank the compassionate staff at DaVita Dialysis Center in Searcy for taking great care of Larry.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, July 28, 2023, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W DeWitt Henry Drive, Beebe, AR 72012.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Fellowship Cemetery, 12237 Highway 278 N, Dierks, AR 71833.
