Larry Ratliff

Larry Ratliff, age 65 of Houston, Texas died Sunday, August 19, 2012 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He was born October 24, 1946 in Benton, AR and was the son of the late Marion Calvin "M.C." Ratliff and Minnie James Ratliff. Mr. Ratliff retired from J.B. Hunt Transport last year after 25 years of service and receiving several awards for his dedication to the company. At his last professional milestone, he obtained the prestigious honor of 3 million miles of safe driving.
Mr. Ratliff bravely battled cancer and was called to Heaven with his two sons by his side.

He is survived by his two sons, Kyle Ratliff and wife, Jeannie of Conway, AR, and Ryan Ratliff and partner, Eric Freedman of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two brothers, Billy Ratliff and wife, Mary and Dee Ratliff of Caddo Valley, AR; two grandchildren, Kayleigh and Tyler Ratliff.


Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Caddo Valley Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Caddo Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 22nd at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
