CPT Larry R. Rogers, USAF (Ret.) passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 73. He was born on August 2, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Larry was raised in the Catholic faith and stayed spiritually connected to it throughout his life. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as an F-4 Fighter Navigator, a chapter of his life he valued deeply. After his military service, Larry went on to build a successful career in medical equipment sales, where his people skills and determination really shined. Later, he took that same drive and entrepreneurial spirit and started his own pool construction business, which became another source of pride for him.
Larry is survived by his sister Lisa Piazza (Tim) and nephew T.J. Piazza; his brother William Rogers; and special family members Patsie Bridges, his stepdaughter Chris Mareen (Ivan), and granddaughter Allie Mareen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna Mae Rogers and William Robert Rogers, and his brother David Leslie Rogers.
Larry also leaves behind a wide circle of friends—friends he laughed with, leaned on, helped out, and truly cared about. He had a way of building lasting connections, and those friendships meant the world to him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Research in Larry’s memory.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
