Laura Ellen Allman, a woman whose life was defined by selflessness, a generous heart, and a vibrant, infectious laugh, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at her home in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was 64 years old.
Born on May 3, 1961, Laura dedicated four decades of her professional life to serving others as a beloved employee of Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She found immense joy in her work, where she was known for her exceptional care and commitment to helping people navigate their health needs.
Laura was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Crystal Valley Baptist Church. Her faith was the cornerstone of her giving spirit. Her defining characteristic was her protective and loving nature, especially for her family. This deep sense of duty was evident in the compassionate care she provided for her grandparents and parents until their passing.
Outside of work, Laura embraced life with enthusiasm. She was a passionate fan of rock music and enjoyed attending car shows. Her pets were a constant source of comfort and joy. Above all, she treasured her role as an aunt, sharing a profound bond with her nieces and nephew. Laura had a memorable way of expressing her immense love, often telling her nieces she loved them "to the moon and back." Her vibrant laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Laura was greeted at the heavenly gates with a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck by her loving parents, Robert and Jessie Allman, and her brothers, Mark and David Allman.
She is survived by her soulmate, John Pat Collier, devoted brother, Alan Allman, and her cherished nieces and nephew: Samantha Luisi, Melissa Stone, Jessie Allman, Jennifer Denny Carmichael, Meghan Denny Gibson, Tyler Allman, and Anna Allman. She leaves behind three great-nieces, Kirsten Luisi, Kenzie Carmichael, and Freya Carmichael, and two great-nephews, Finley Carmichael and Kayden Carmichael, who will carry her memory in their hearts.
