Laura Belle Foster entered Heaven on September 16, 2025. She was born on March 31, 1942, to loving parents Lawrence C. Smith and Judy Mae Belle Neal Smith.
Laura was predeceased by her beloved husband, Roy Foster; infant twins, Cathy LaRa and Carla Kaye; three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her three sons, Allen Foster of Hot Springs, Randy Foster of Pearcy, and Roger Foster of Arkadelphia; one brother, David Smith of Hot Springs; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Laura grew up in the small town of Bonnerdale, Arkansas, and attended Mt. Ida school where she graduated and received her diploma. She worked as a church secretary for Light House Temple and enjoyed every second of the memories and relationships she fostered while there. Later in her career she spent some time at Lake Catherine Footwear as a line supervisor, and then eventually took care of elderly patients which she took immense pride in, until she retired at the age of Seventy Eight.
Her family described her voice as that of an Angel, she and her brother Billie were even gifted the opportunity to travel and sing with the famous Johnny Cash but their father unfortunately denied them permission.
Laura's boys and grandchildren were the light and joy of her life, and will not only be deeply missed by them, but by all who knew and loved her.
