Laura Virginia Good of Little Rock, a devoted Jehovah's Witness for many decades, died Sunday, July 25, 2010. She was born on December 16, 1916 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late J.D. and Laura Baxley Reed. Laura truly loved her God Jehovah. Her spiritual joy came from helping others learn from the bible about Jehovah and his son, Jesus Christ. Her dedication to Jehovah moved her to serve many years as a Regular Pioneer. She also devoted numerous years along side her husband in the traveling work by visiting and strengthening congregations throughout the country. Laura had the ability to touch a person's heart and bring out the very best in them. Because of this gift, along with many other qualities she possessed, she is leaving behind homes and congregations filled with people who will miss her and feel this loss deeply. Laura's memory is cherished by her husband of 63 years, Harry Good, and a host of family and friends. A memorial will be held Saturday, July 31 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 14800 Hinson Road. Arrangements by Little Rock Funeral Home, (501)224-2200.
