Laura Annette Webb (Holsclaw), 62, of Maumelle, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2025, surrounded by love.
Laura was born on March 3, 1963, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Treta Crabtree and Donald Holsclaw, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Webb, her sister, Debbie Wright, her nephew, Phillip Bollinger and niece, Tara Wright.
Above all else, Laura loved being a mother and a Nanna. She poured her heart into her family and found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved. She is survived by her children Deborah Webb (husband Cody Davis) and Jacob Ballard (wife Natalie Ballard), her step daughters, Brandi Killins, Jami Canady, Cassi Gilbow, and bonus son Derek Henschel.
She was the proud and devoted Nanna to Aubree, Creek, Ellie, Wilder, Madelyn, Linley, Slate, Meah, Jackson, Kate, Austin, Addie, and Reed, and lovingly embraced a large and cherished group of grandchildren she considered her own: Gracey, Brayden, Henry, Lucas, Jay, Adrian, and Kohen.
Laura is also survived by her sisters Terri Bollinger (husband Tim Bollinger), Katie Sheffield, and Diane Bray.
Laura was an incredible sister, a wonderful nurse, and truly a friend to everyone she met. She had a gift for loving people deeply and selflessly. Her kitchen was always full, her table always open, and no one ever left her presence hungry– whether for food, comfort, or encouragement. She had a servant’s heart and spent her life helping others, pouring into anyone who needed her. To so many, Laura was more than a friend - but she was the community mother, a safe space, and a steady source of love.
When she wasn’t caring for others, Laura found peace in the simple joys of nature. She loved spending time in the hills trout fishing, where she could slow down, reflect, and enjoy the quiet beauty around her. Those moments brought her deep happiness and became some of her most treasured times.
Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched, the family she fiercely loved, and the example she set of compassion, generosity, and unwavering care for others.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025 at 11:00am, followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm., both at Smith Family Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas.
Laura will be deeply missed and forever loved.
