Lavois A. Launius, 83, of Maumelle, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011. Born in Fordyce, Arkansas on April 5, 1927 to Fred Richardson and Hazel Turner, she was a member of Mayflower Baptist Church in Mayflower and past pre-school director at Calvary Baptist Church in Rose City.
She is survived by her husband, J.B. Launius of Maumelle; sons, Jim Launius (LaRue) and Bill Launius (Amanda), both of North Little Rock; daughter, Tamberly Buck (Ronnie) of Cabot; brother, Kenneth Richardson of North Little Rock; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
