Lawrence Chudi Ibekwe, 24, passed away August 19, 2016 in Little
Rock, Arkansasa�"twelve days before his and his twin sister's 25th birthday. He was a 2009 graduate of Parkview Arts & Science Magnet High School and a 2015 graduate of UALR. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering with a minor in Mathematics and an Associate's degree in Computer Programming. In 2010, he co-founded an IT company, called Mali Technical Services, and maintained this business while working as a Software and Systems Engineer until his untimely death.
Chudi was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in North Little Rock, where he served as an usher and altar server. He was full of energy and truly enjoyed life, listening to music, socializing with friends, and traveling. Everywhere he went his presence took over the room, with his bright smile, jokes, and booming voice. Chudi was young and ambitious and had a bright future ahead of him.
He is survived by parents, Dr. & Mrs. Lawrence and Theresa Ibekwe, siblings, uncles, aunts, several extended family members, and many friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Vigil will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, Little Rock. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
