Lawrence David Baltz "Larry", age 74, passed away on April 23, 2026. He was born on June 16, 1951 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Genievieve Baltz; brothers, Aloysius "Al" Baltz and Ralph Baltz; and sisters Judy Randall and Henrietta Sigmund. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Debbie Dian Baltz; and his son, Benjamin M. Baltz.

Larry retired from ABF trucking after putting over 3 million miles on the road pulling double trailers. Larry to his dying day loved to garden from beautiful flowers to vegetables. At both his last living facilities he loved making flower arrangements and sharing his vegetables with others. He also loved to watch his Andy Griffith and his westerns.

Larry is survived by his two sons Jason L. Baltz (Candace) and Christopher K. Baltz; brothers David Baltz (Jean), Mitch Baltz (Teresa); sister, Ruth McKillip; grandchildren: Matthias Baltz, Ava Baltz, Brooklyn Baltz, Benjamin Baltz, and Vale Baltz; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and family members.

Visitation service will be held at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street in Benton, Arkansas on Wednesday, April 29, from 10:00 AM to Noon. The family will have a private burial at Rosemont Cemetery in Benton, Arkansas.

The family would like to thank all of those who have cared for him; Foxridge of Bryant, Friends at Chenal Pines, Arkansas Heart Hospital, Natalie Cobb, APRN of St. Vincent WLR, Carti, Baptist Home Health, Hospice Home Care, and Brookdale Chenal Heights.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Larry's favorite charity, Habitat for Humanity at Donate Today - Habitat for Humanity.
