Lawrence Allen Shelton, 74, of Little Rock passed away on October 26th. He was born in Little Rock and joined the Army in 1955. After his retirement from the Army, in 1975, he enjoyed a diverse career that included civil service and several positions that allowed him to enjoy his expertise in electronics. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia, children, Carol, Maria, Tina and Thomas, seven grandchildren, and one great grandson. He leaves behind his siblings Mary, Katie, Lynnda, Robert, and Laura and their families, as well as the families of his brothers and sisters who preceded him, Katherine, Claude, Charles, Barbara, and William. He will also be missed by Nicholas and Jessica, for whom he provided a loving home, and a host of family and friends who played special roles in his life.
A service with Military Honors will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30th, at Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, AR 72205 (501) 224.2200.
