Lawrence Staton

Larry was a dedicated family man, Deacon of Highway Baptist and a Gideon. Larry was married to his wife, Anne (Luckinbill) Staton for 58 years. He passed on February 7th, 2018; he was 80 years old.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Staton, Sr., and Opal Derby Staton; sister, Juanita Franklin; brothers, Dewey Staton, Jr., Kenneth (Charlene) Staton, Warren Staton; and son-in-law, Gary York.
Larry is survived by his wife, Anne, his sister, Mary (Buddy) Whiteside, his son Steve Staton, his daughter, Laurie York, his sons, Darren (Jill) Staton, and Shannon (Shannon) Staton. Grandchildren: Cody (Rachel) York, Stacy (Brandi) Staton, Kristi Staton, Courtney (Justin) Higgs, Alex (Blaine) Ross, Ashton (Jonah) Bynum, Alisa Staton, Joey Staton, Spencer Staton, Saylor Staton. Great grandchildren: Landon Higgs, Jaxon York, Chloe York, Kinsley Higgs, Tycen York and C.J. Ross and many more nephews, nieces and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be given to the Gideons in memory of Larry.
