Lawrence Edward Williams, 83, of El Paso, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Freda Williams of El Paso; two daughters, Mary Quick (Lyndle) and Tammie Quick (Mark); grandchildren, Josh Quick, Beth Quick, Shawnae Lavender (Dustin) Stephanie Quick and Ethan Quick; two great-granddaughters, Abi and Eli Lavender; three stepchildren, Helen Schroeder (Kent), Jannie Wilson (Bill), Lonnie Graham (Tracy); several step grand and great-grandchildren; sister, Audrey New; and two brothers, Orvil Williams (Billie) and Bill Williams (Peggy). He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Mary Williams; siblings, Elmer, Ruby and Georgie; his first wife and mother of his children, Jean Vines Williams.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Kidney Foundation, 1818 N. Taylor, Suite 186, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
