Leathia Arlie Rollins

April 30, 1943 — November 6, 2023

Benton

Leathia Arlie Rollins, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on November 6, 2023. She was born on April 30, 1943. Leathia was a loving homemaker who selflessly put her family first throughout her life.

Leathia's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She had a deep devotion to her husband of 59 years, Loyd Rollins. Their love and partnership were an inspiration to all who knew them. Leathia was a dedicated and nurturing mother to three sons: Gene Rollins Jr., Kevin Rollins, and Terry Rollins. She always made sure to attend their baseball games and practices, often darting back and forth to ensure she could watch each of her sons play.

Besides being a devoted wife and mother, Leathia had a passion for fishing. She enjoyed spending time on the boat, casting her line, and relishing in the peacefulness of nature. Fishing provided her with moments of solace and reflection.

Leathia's caring nature extended beyond her immediate family. She treasured the relationships she built throughout her life and leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Her parents, the late Clifford and Arlie (Davis) Austin, were instrumental in shaping the values she held dear.

Leathia is survived by her adoring husband Gene Rollins, her three devoted sons Gene Rollins Jr. (Jennifer), Kevin Rollins (Deana), Terry Rollins (Deslee Andrews); grandchildren Ashley, Bradley, Alicia, Braylee; four great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends who loved her deeply.

Leathia Arlie Rollins will be forever remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her dedication to nurturing others, and her gentle spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
