Lee Roy Cochran age 93 of Arkadelphia died Sunday, February 24, 2013. He was born April 8, 1919 in Fouke, TX the son of James and Bessie Jeans Cochran. He was a auto mechanic, a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, and attended New Caney Missionary Baptist Church near Gurdon.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Marie Cochran; one son, James Lee; two daughters, Shirley Ann and Geraldine.
Survivors include one son, Cecil Cochran and his wife Yolanda of Blountstown, Florida, one brother, four sisters, nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services with Military Honors will be 3:30 PM Tuesday, February 26th in the South Fork Cemetery near Gurdon. There will be no formal visitation.
