Leeonena Goss, 70, of Cabot passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011. She was born February 24, 1941 in Batesville, Arkansas to the late Willie and Murner Lawson Misenheimer.
She is survived by her son, Lester Wood, of Rosebud; daughters, Linda LayFave Sprankle, of Rosebud, Lisa Diane Goss, of North Little Rock, Lori Sue Wood, of Benton, Letha Jane Mongno, of Jacksonville and Louise Anderson, of Benton; twenty grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Smiley, of Jacksonville, Virginia Ives, Nell Meredith, both of Perryville and Martha Wheeler, of Pleasant Plains; and her brothers, Lonnie Misenheimer, of Jacksonville, Jimmy Dale Misenheimer, of Damascus and Smokey Misenheimer, of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie L. Goss; son, Leroy Wood and brothers, John Wayne, Steve and Randy Misenheimer.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
