Leila D. Brewer, age 103, of Arkadelphia, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 in Arkadelphia. She was born July 28, 1912 in Allsbrook, Arkansas to the late A. P. and Alice Weir Delony. Leila was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Neal Brewer.
Survivors are two sons, Jim N. Brewer and wife, Wilma of Denton, Texas, George P. Brewer and wife, Louise of Arkadelphia; four daughters, Janet Hearn and husband, Bill of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, Dora B. Wright of Turkey, North Carolina, Alice Hasley of Arkadelphia and Patricia Schieffer of Spring, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12:30 until 1:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 11th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Rev Robbie Horne and Rev. Jeff Krisell officiating. Burial will follow at Richland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phil Hearn, Ken Hearn, David Wright, Stephen Brewer, George Brewer Jr., Jeff Hasley, Dillard Hasley and Perry Schieffer.
Memorials may made to Faith Missionary Baptist Church 2326 Walnut St. Arkadelphia, AR. 71923.
