Leona Esther Heerboth, 95, passed away peacefully March 23, 2024. She was born to the late Willard Zeal Owens and Thelma Louise Gant on March 11, 1929 in Benton, Illinois.
Leona was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in NLR, as well as Trinity LWML and Sylvan Hills Homemakers Extension.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Heerboth; Six children; One grandchild, Christopher; Five siblings, Vivian Owens, Donald Owens, Charles (Chuck) Owens, Janette Culver and Ladene Lasley; & daughter-in-law Janice Heerboth.
She is survived by daughter, Esther (Leroy) Mahnken and son, Everett L. Heerboth; Grandchildren, Anna, Erin (Brad), Adam (Leah) and Stephen (April), Vicki (James); Great-Grandchildren, Caleb (Allyson), Aidan, Korbin, Allison, Spencer, Lane, Ethan (Geneva), Matthew, Abbie, Alex, and Shelbie (Charlie); Great-Great Grandchildren, Russell, and Elijah.
Visitation will be Friday, March 29, 2024 at 10:30AM at Trinity Lutheran, 3802 N. Olive Street, NLR, AR 72116. Funeral service will follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be followed by service at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville, AR.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Trinity Lutheran Church in NLR or Trinity LWML.
