Leonard J. Morgan, 83, of Beebe, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 6, 2011. He was a retired supervisor for the City of Dallas Water Dept. and a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp. He attended the Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille; a son, Richard Morgan and wife Kimberlin of Wewahitchka, Florida; a daughter, Faye Debord and husband Chester of Ladonia, Texas; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Walter Morgan of Wills Point, Texas and Wilbon Morgan of Clairmore, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Roxie (Carpenter) Morgan, a brother, D. C. Morgan, and three sisters, Birdie, Sarah and Bessie.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in New Floyd Cemetery.
