Leonard “Gerald” O'Kelley, 91 of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 9, 2026 just 3 weeks shy of his 92nd birthday. He was born June 1, 1934 in Bradford, Arkansas and was a member of Martindale Baptist Church. Leonard began his life of service in the United States Navy, followed by 22 devoted years with the Little Rock Police Department from 1956 to 1978.

After retiring from law enforcement, he spent 16 years driving for Gray Line Bus Tours, exploring cities across the country and Canada. He had countless stories from those days of driving the bus, and enjoyed retelling them, always with humor.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Morene; daughter, Rhonda Kay; grandson Kevin; parents, Sid and Eva; brothers, James and Julian. Family was everything to Leonard, he is survived by his wife, Marie; sons, Danny (Sharon) of Little Rock, Michael of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Steve (Susan) of Little Rock, eight precious grandchildren, Danielle (Ben), Chad (Haylee), Stephanie (Rocky), Ross (Sally), Shannon (Corey), Clint (Chelsea) and MaryEllen; great-grandchildren, Megan, Ethan, Elijah, Everett, Landree, Lawson, Owen, Becca, Hope, Faith, Zachary, Brooklyn, Riley, Quinn, Julian, and Ellie Mae. He is also survived by his brother in law, Kenny (Sheila).

A visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m. followed by a funeral at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026 at Martindale Baptist Church, 18900 Colonel Glenn Rd. Little Rock, AR, officiated by Bro. Bill Harris. A graveside service will follow at Heard Cemetery in Bradford.
