Letha Faye Caple, 72, of Haskell, Arkansas passed away April 27, 2016. She was born December 1, 1943 to the late Alton Blair, Sr. and Annie Bearden Blair in Benton, Arkansas.
Letha was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Alton Blair, Jr., Pete Blair; and Alfred Blair.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories two sons, Rickey Caple and Ronnie Caple of Benton, Arkansas; daughter, Tonya Nelson of Bryant, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Shawna Hankins, Kendra Sweat and husband Marcus, Amanda Moss, Jade Dixon, and Amber Thode; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Pierce and Linda Witham and husband Donnie; three brothers, Arlie Blair and (Linda), Buddy Blair and wife Glenda, and Acie Blair and (Brenda); and many other family members and friends who loved Letha and will miss her always.
Reception visitation will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, AR 72015. Funeral service, officiated by Bro. Carl Higgs, will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 2, 2016 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Fairplay Cemetery with Gerald Hinds, John Dempsey, Andy Baker, John Walker, Hunter Loughary, Shane Ramsey serving as pallbearers. Letha's nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
