Leveda Lorene Gubanski, 76, of North Little Rock, passed away June 6, 2016. She was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Milo James Smith and Doris Shults Dobbs.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Adam Stanley "Sonny" Gubanski, Jr.; children, Sharon Davis (James) of Gravel Ridge, Roger Gubanski and Rhonda Fulmer, both of North Little Rock; sister, Roseanna Smith of Paron; grandchildren, Shawn Uptain, Jessie Davis, Robin Gubanski and Dustin Harris; and a host of great-grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Patricia Smith, Patrick Smith, Charlotte Hutson, Martin Smith, Myrtle Marie Moore and Bobby Smith.
Leveda loved life and people. She never met a stranger. She was a giving person and liked helping people. She enjoyed spending time with her family and making sure everyone had what they needed. She loved her husband, "Sonny," and enjoyed every minute she spent with him. They liked going to car shows and swap meets. Leveda loved flea markets and going to Petit Jean every year. She will be missed more than words can say. She was the best wife, mother and grandmother that anyone could ask for. We will always love you, Mama.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Friday, June 10 at 9:30 a.m., at the funeral home, followed by interment at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
