Lewis Mosley Adams, 100, of North Little Rock passed away, Sunday, April 17, 2011. He was a World War II Army veteran serving as a Medic in the European Theatre under General George L. Patton in the 4th Armored Division and was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a member of Corner Stone Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara (Fischer) Adams, of North Little Rock; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Frank and Susan Adams, of Mason City, Iowa, Michael and Vicki Adams of Conyers, Georgia and Lewis L. Adams, of Ozark; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Rick Eads, of Slidell, Louisiana; three sisters, Louis Wickliffe, of Benton, Myrtle Long, of Maumelle and Marcelle Moulden, of Conway; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 12:00 p.m., Friday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
