Lewis Jenkins, 73, of Benton, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He had a lifetime passion for racing.
He is survived by his three sons, Robert (Kim) Jenkins of Benton, Lewis (Glenna) Jenkins, Jr. of Bryant and Rick Jenkins of Little Rock; a daughter, Bobbie (Tron) Clark of Anchorage, Alaska; two sisters, Linda (Harvey) Chism of Benton and Louise (C. M.) Gatrell of Little Rock; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Jenkins of Little Rock. Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Juanita Jenkins; parents, Dan and Tressie Jenkins; three brothers, Bill, Bobby and Buddy Jenkins.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
